Do I need an appointment?
Please contact the centre by phone or WhatsApp to confirm how your scan is booked and when it can be done. This also lets the team tell you about any preparation.
What should I bring for my scan?
Bring your doctor’s prescription or referral, any earlier scans or reports, and a photo ID. For contrast CT studies you may also be asked for a recent kidney function test.
How should I prepare for an ultrasound?
Preparation depends on the area being scanned. Abdominal scans often need fasting, pelvic and KUB scans often need a full bladder, and superficial scans usually need none. Please confirm with the centre when you book.
How long does an X-ray take?
For a routine X-ray the imaging itself usually takes only a few minutes. Contrast studies such as HSG or IVP take longer.
What should I know before a CT scan?
Tell the staff about allergies, kidney conditions, medicines and any chance of pregnancy. For a contrast scan you may be asked to fast and to bring a recent kidney function test. Confirm the details with the centre beforehand.
